മണ്ണഞ്ചേരി വിശാലുപറമ്പിൽ നാണുവിന്റെയും പാർവ്വതിയുടേയും മകനായി 1921-ൽ ജനിച്ചു. പൂന്തോപു സ്ക്കൂളിൽ നിന്നും പ്രാഥമികവിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നേടി. ആസ്പിൻവാൾ കമ്പനിയിൽ കയർ നെയ്ത്ത് തൊഴിലാളി ആയിരുന്നു. പൂന്തോപ്പ് സബ് ക്യാമ്പിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു. ക്യാമ്പിൽ നിന്നു കൊച്ചുനാരായണന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പാതിരപ്പള്ളി വഴി ആലപ്പുഴയിലേക്കു വാരിക്കുന്തവും മറ്റു ആയുധങ്ങളുമായി നടത്തിയ ജാഥയിൽ അംഗമായിരുന്നു. ആലപ്പുഴയിൽവച്ചു പോലീസ് ജാഥ തടഞ്ഞു. ലാത്തിചാർജ്ജിൽ മർദ്ദനമേറ്റു. കേസിൽ പ്രതിയായതോടെ വൈക്കത്ത് ഒളിവിൽ പോയെങ്കിലും അറസ്റ്റിലായി. ജയിൽവാസം അനുഭവം. 1998-ൽ അന്തരിച്ചു. ഭാര്യ: സൗമിത. മക്കൾ: അനിതകുമാരി, സുശീലൻ, ഷീല
