ആലപ്പുഴ തോണ്ടൻകുളങ്ങര വടക്കേ കാട്ടുങ്കല് വീട്ടില് 1911-ൽ ജനിച്ചു. പ്രാഥമിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസംനേടിയിരുന്നു. കയർ തൊഴിലാളി ആയിരുന്നു. 1938-ലെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തഭരണ പ്രക്ഷോഭത്തിലും പൊതുപണിമുടക്കിലും സജീവമായിരുന്നു. എസ്.സി. 7/115 കേസില് പ്രതിചേര്ക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഏഴുമാസം സെൻട്രൽ ജയിലില് തടവുശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിച്ചു. 1952-ല് ഡിസംബര് 25-ന് അന്തരിച്ചു. ഭാര്യ: കെ. കാര്ത്ത്യാനി.
